Drexel Snapshot: Mongolian and Philly Teens Meet at the Museum

This week, five teenage girls from Mongolia are in Philadelphia exploring the city and learning about natural sciences halfway around the world from their home. Since the fall, they have been part of a group of teens in Mongolia participating in a program at the National Museum of Mongolia in which they collaborate online with teens in Philadelphia at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University to learn about climate change. This summer, five of the Philly teens from the Academy’s program, Women in Natural Sciences (WINS), will travel to Mongolia. Above, the visiting Mongolian teens and several of the Philly WINS participants tour the research collections at the Academy.
